        Hi,
If you would like you can go to the Review My Menu thread and place a couple days of your menu there so we can see what you've been eating. Maybe we can help you sort through your menu and offer some advice.

You might be hitting a plateau. I did that the before as well. My scales didn't move for about 4 days. It was soooo discouraging! But, I held on, and continued with Atkins, and before I knew it, I had lost about 4 pounds the next day.......that's a Whooooshie!!
This is my third time around, and final time. I gave up after about 5 weeks into Atkins, and about a 45 pound weight loss. Now I'm back, ( June 1st) to give it a one and final time, because THIS time, I WILL succeed on getting this weight off my behind! So hang in there!! You have much support here on the board!

Posting a menu is always good if you're worried. However, if you're following the plan properly, it could be what we call PISS (!) Post Induction Stall Syndrome. This happens to many and is the body sort of taking stock and needing to know you're really serious about weight loss. Losses usually start up again quickly, or a move to the first rung of OWL can often jump start the pound shedding again.

            Hang in there.

Re: not losing weight after 2nd week

              HEllo there
i did not loose any weight near the end of the second week and thru most of the third week. But i stuck with it and the loss started very nicely again. I have read about this plenty of times on this board. Sorry i cant remember the exact post but someone had explained properly about how the body adjusts to the new eating habits and weight loss slows but then picks up again.
just stick with it please. I weigh myself every day and that helped me to understand how weight fluctuates everyday. i could be 229 on monday, 227 on tuesday and then 228 on wednesday.... it happens ! but over a period of time you will see a very stable pattern of LOSS !
              best of luck dear.
