  • Bigger Breakfast Helps Weight Loss

Hello! I saw this article today about eating a big breakfast because it could help with weight loss. I thought "well, we've been saying that all along!" Here at the board I've seen people say that eating breakfast kick starts your metabolism and it helps you not be hungry later in the day so I thought the article was good! But then I saw that it compared the results of 'big breakfast' diet and a low carb diet. That doesn't really make sense to me! Why wouldn't you do the low carb with the big breakfast? Studies like this always kind of perplex me because they try to say that the results of low carbing aren't good- I think the people in the studies just don't stick to the plan! They should look at people here who have really stuck with it for a long period of time to say how it does long term. Hope every one is having a good day!

Well we know better, Amy. We'll just stick to our big low carb breakfasts and laugh all the way to the scale.

OK - tell me if this is wildly inconsistent. Lately - I've been eating a good sized breakfast (2 eggs fried or scrambled and two sausages) but I've been intetionally trying to hold off eating first thing. I've been trying to wait until I'm hungry an hour or so after eating. It seems to really be keeping me stable all day long.
