    i looked in the FAQ but cant find it, i am having trouble with all the abbreviations in peoples posts.... TOM, DH , theres another D_ ... and
    others.. can someone point me to the abreviation page ??

    I'm certainly no expert but I think it's this:
    TOM - time of month
    DH - dear husband, darned husband, d*mn husband as the case may be
    DS, DD - son or daughter.

      Here's a couple more I just ran into in some other posts:
      LOL - laughing out loud
      and my favorite:
      ROFLMAO - "rolling on floor laughing my *ss off"

        Others that were unique to this board when I first arrived:

        WOE - way of eating
        WOL - way of life

        And one that isn't an acronym per se, but had me confused for a while:

        wooshie - a sudden drop in weight (usually after a period of time without loss)

        (I won't tell you what I thought it meant originally!
