Tomorrow will be one month back on Atkins. I have lost 15 pounds, and 14 inches off my body. This even includes the 3 jello shots and 1 Bloody Mary on 4th of July. I feel great, and my skin and nails look great! I can't believe it took me two years to come back.
My advice to anyone new, or comming back like me, is to stick to it, follow the book, and don't let one slip become a fall. This works, and its healthy.
I see a lot of posts where people are only wanting to lose weight, regardless of their health. I used to feel that way, too. The longer I do this, the better I feel, the more important my health becomes. I love feeling, looking, and being healthy. The weight/inches lost is just a bonus. What good will a thin body do you if it is laying in a hospital bed (or worse)? Sure, being fat is unhealthy, but so is crash diets, pills, chemicals, and everything else that goes with that.
Ok, thank you all for the help, support, and reading this. Have a great day!!!
