    Re: Hold the (extra) mayo!

Thank you Jen! That is what I was missing. Well, I'm missing a lot lol, but that was IT in fitday and my net carb counting. Thanks.

Thanks Jen. It had been so long since I had set my Fitday up that I thought the fiber was just there automatically. Sorry if I totally confused you Glenn.

I know times are tough, and everyones "spare" cash is going in the gas tank....but, if you can afford it, the PC fitday version is soooo worth it. I've had mine 5-6 years, and I'm still learning things it can track for me! It was $20 back then, haven't looked recently.
BTW Glenn, I'm losing on an average of 1991 calories per day. I'm guessing you'd be losing on closer to 2500!! So don't the mayo

            Chicklady-
Thanks for the tips - I am just figuring out OWL and anything helps. I'd say I am in positive transition because I am eating only good stuff and doing much more exercise now and I think that will change the equation for me. I have been under carbing a bit by counting total not net. Therefore with the ratios I have been under caling.
            Thanks
            Glenn

PS: What's great about the ADBB is you end up with a lot more useful information and results if you are honest and willing to learn. This is an excellent example of a high performing organization: commitment (joining, reading, thinking, doing), putting your stake in (posting, caring), being transparent (honesty about your needs), and developing a synergy as a group (to perform and get results). You've been here 9 months - is this how you see it?

You forgot occassionally confusing, but you covered it well otherwise Oh wait....maybe those are just my senior moments
Actually, I'm trying not to use so much mayo 'cause of the high amounts of Omega 6's in them. It's really hard to hold a 4-1 ratio of Om.6 to Om.3's when consuming high amountsof mayo. I could make a nice homemade olive oil mayo, but I'm a lazy old fart! I have started using the top part of Stoneyfields whole yogurt (the seperated cream part) for at least a partial replacement. Nothing tastes like mayo though!!

                Re: Hold the (extra) mayo!

OK Chicklady, now I am going to have to google Omega 6s v Omega 3s and see what THATS all about. When I am in China, I miss all this. I come back to find all kinds of health issues in the news here that I am blissfully ignorant of in the news vacuum there. LOL

By the way, Congratulations on being halfway to goal! I am almost halfway from my high weight too, but I have taken a lot more detours to get this far.

Thanks I've slowed down a bit, but I never "want" for anything, you know? I'm eating just under what I think I've figured my maintainance CL to be, and going slow, steady, and yummy THIS time is my LAST time!!
