  • My Birthday Gift To My Self


    OK so my birthday is coming and im going to be 28 and my weight is 220 and I hate it lol I know the low carb diet works because I lost 150 in 2000 and I have not been focused. BUT now I will stick to my guns and do it from today till 10 /26 I will not CHEAT my birthday gift will be weight loss lol and some new clothes If any one would like to join me that would be awesome

      Good for you, but you shouldn't set 10/26 as your date to "quit" atkins. You'll just gain it all back. It's great to have a goal day, but saying "i will not cheat until 10/26", implies you can cheat after 10/26 once you've gotten to goal.

      Instead, you'd probably feel pretty good if you moved up the rungs properly, and by 10/26 you were allowed to have certain yummy things (like fruit).

        Great advice, Carbless!! Maybe set an exercise goal, or a no-sweetener goal, or a water goal. You deserve to be thin and healthy, well past your birthday. Take care and good luck!

          I have a whole wheat bagel in the morning scooped out with cc and a coffee with half and half and splenda then I eat carbless for the rest of the day I also joined the gym may be I can give up the whole wheat bagel lol what do u guys think ???

            Sorry, but if you are having any kind of bagel you are definitely not on Atkins. If you are really serious about doing this, then get the book, read it and do it right. And be prepared not to see a bagel for a very, very long time.
