Sigh.
I went to take my daily vitamin and assorted supplements today. I've been taking a separate Niacin capsule that my doctor had recommended once before for my cholesterol. Later, I noticed that niacin had other uses such as increased metabolism and reduced sluggishness.
Today, the bottle just happened to be sitting in the cupboard with the nutritional info facing out. Curious, I took a looksy. You'd think the first ingredient would be niacin, right? It is a niacin capsule after all. But no -- the first ingredient was sucrose. Now it's been a while since high school chemistry, but if I recall correctly, sucrose is the nerdy name for table sugar. Thus my title for this thread.

Guess I'll just stick to the new eating plan and pass on the sucrose supplement!
