  • What gives?

    The last few days I have had HORRIBLE fatigue. It makes no sense to me. I've followed the diet to the letter . I'm eating no more than 25 carbs a day, I'm taking my vitamins and I am exhausted. Has anyone gone through this without it being the induction flu? I hate feeling this way.

    I have too. I don't know what it is or why either. Sorry, I realize that is not very helpful but I would like to see if anyone else has any insight.

      glad I'm not the only one.. but it's frustrating. I'm actually napping! I don't like to waste my day doing that and I hate being non-productive.

        Hi Trisan. I don't know if you take any supplements but I just got a new one today that has CoQ-10, Acetyl L-Carnitine, and Alpha Lipoic Acid in it. They are all supposed to help with energy and fat metabolism.
        It was fairly cheap on vitacost considering that CoQ-10 is really expensive:

          Thank you! I do take supplements just doesn't seem like they are working right now. NOW I am having wicked chocolate cravings..

            I have the same issue. Fatigue a lot, that's why I haven't been able to give up caffeine. I fall asleep at my desk. Also I heard that the brain needs carbs to function properly and I think mine needs more than most people or something because I've been in a fog for the past 4 months. I seriously feel half as intelligent as I used to. I might have to start taking ginko biloba or something to get me out of this brain fog. I thought I'd try to go without caffeine for a week. The first day I fell asleep on my desk, and then later couldn't make it through Dr. Phil (8:00-9:00). The next day, I was out halfway through jeopardy (7:45). I do exercise regularly, but I only notice the energy I get from exercise as I'm doing it or right after.
