    SoCA Earthquake....we are fine!

    wow.....5.8 in chino hills. we live up in apple valley, the desert about 50 miles northeast. i was in the grocery store. the shelves in there sure to move a lot! my son felt it IN THE CAR as he was driving to san diego. he was just south of temecula. ernie said the house took a HUGE roll to the south and back. no damage. just one FREAKED OUT KITTY!

    hope all of you in the SoCA area are ok. no damage or injuries here to report. no loss of service or power. phone lines are jammed. that is about all.

    please check in and let us know you are ok!!

    Thanks for checking in and letting us know you are okay! One of these days you will be checking in from your own little island floating in the Pacific! Better get that wireless connection!

      I have a brother in LA. I've been trying to call him but there seems to be no phone service. Hope all is well!!!

          sunny....my best friend/ex college roomie told me today to hurry up and move back east before i fall off the face of the earth! EEK! well, i would love to live closer to her. my dad teases me and tells me that some day soon, i will have ocean front property!

          marcella...according to all reports, cell phones are tied up because everyone is calling to see how others are. no major problems to report, just shaken nerves of course.

          jimmie....glad to hear that silly is ok. when you talk to her again, tell her she is MISSED!

          well friends, i am an old southern girl. give me a hurricane any day! the way i see it, hurricanes are predicted. at least you know they are coming. earthquakes scare the poopy out of me! really. they sound horrible, feel terrible and you never know when they will stop! i can hear them coming before they hit. i really do not like earthquakes! hoping all of our peeps here at adbb are well.

              So glad you are ok! I'm in central florida and even after the 2004 hurricane season, I agree with your theory on hurricanes. I'll take those any day over a tornado! Those things scare me to death!
