I'm still doing the induction phase and I'm trying to be really carefull about the food I eat. I bought a pack of frozen/processed hamburger patties at Walmart. I'm wondering if these are ok to eat. I looked on the label and I couldn't really find anywhere that says what ingredients the patties contain. It just says 0 carbs and sugar but I'm wondering if maybe they have something bad since there processed. If these are not a good choice then what kind of hamburger meat should I buy.

Re: ? about hamburger meat
I wouldn't buy any kind of meet that isn't pretty much 100% pure. Filler's will get you everytime. I just bought some pre-done patties at Safeway, but I made sure they said the only ingredient was beef that way I don't have to worry. I know then that when I see the Nutrition Factors telling me that each pattie has 0 Carbs & 0 sugars ect... that it means exactly what it says. That is only my way of thinking of course, and other's may do something entirely different?ReStart Induction - 05/04/09

Re: ? about hamburger meat
Its strange that there is no ingredient list. Look closely. Maybe it just says BEEF, and thats why its hard to find .. Or look up the brand on the internet and see if you can get some info that way.
I but frozen burgers from the grocery store sometime too .. Mine say 100% beef ..
