    Hi,

i am on day 4 of induction and bought some Richmond Sausages to eat - are these allowed??

I looked on the back and have 16g of carbs!!!! (1.3 sugar)

Have i just mistakenly selected sausages that have carbs or do they all have them??

Thanks! I will be really careful now with sausages from now on! In the past i have bought ready cooked spicy sausages from Tesco for dinner, but of course i dont know if they have carbs!!

          Re: Sausages

Unfortunately the traditional British 'banger' always has a starchy filler like breadcrumbs or rusk (made from flour) in it so you will really have to spend time reading labels, not only for the nutrition info but also for the list of ingredients.

German-style sausages like bratwurst usually only have meat and spices so will be OK. But nowadays I make my own from plain groundup meat and spices to be sure.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
