By toppings she meant the meats and cheeses and veggies on top.
My daughter was making mini pizzas tonight. Of course I can't eat those.. but I took a plate, and made 4 groups of 3 little overlapping pepperoni, and put a half slice of pepperjack cheese (block cheese) in the middle of each. Thirty sec in the microwave!
I would try to keep the diet sodas to the minimum you can stand. The first time I did Atkins, I broke my addiction to all soda and never got it back, which was great. Soda is an expensive habit for one. Think of all the good legal food you can buy with what you don't spend on soda!
If you are wondering because you are going out....yes eat the toppings...including the cheese and a diet pop should be okay once a week. Especially if doing so helps to keep you on plan when you are out with others. But do be aware that artificial sweetners can stall some people or cause sugar cravings so be on guard for those side effects and if they happen then ditch the pop.

You've gotten excellent advice thus far. I just want to add in to be careful with the pizza sauce, because it can have sugar added to it, just to be on the safe side I would wipe it off with a napkin. I've done this before and stayed in ketosis and lost. If you have a sweet tooth I wouldn't drink any diet sodas at all. Other than that you're good to go. Oh, also watch the sausage and ham toppings they can have sugar in them too.
Thank you for those tips........By the way Yesterday I stoped the Atkins for a day and gained like 5 lbs I think but so I wanted to know since I started today again the induction....I don't want to go off again ...I wanted to know how long before I go into ketosis again?
I didn't think getting off for a day would do so much harm and now I see it does.
Well the only advise that i can give you is to get back on the scale and try weighting yourself with out any clothe on, i mean did you do that the on the first weight in? and the other thing is to think about what you ate during that day that may cause you to gain 5 lbs. Good luck and if in the first one you don't succeed try again...
