Hungry at nighttime....

  • Hungry at nighttime....

    For the past couple of days I've been wanting to snack after 8 pm. I just started the dairy rung and have had cottage cheese at breakfast today. Could the dairy be encouraging my cravings. I'm not craving anything in particular....I just want to eat something.

    if you are truly hungry and have not gone over your daily limits, go ahead and snack on something. there's no rule that says you can't eat past a certain time of the night. if it's something like a habit thing and you are really not hungry just still want to eat out of habit, try drinking a glass of water, if you are still hungry after that, eat something.

        I try not to eat after 7 pm. But that is just me I hate going to bed with a full stomach. Usually if I get hungry I drink a glass of water and that usually takes care of it.

          All good points, and also ... what time of day are you exercising? I find exercising right after dinner helps.

            Thanks for all of the help. Looking at the calendar, I'm thinking it's just PMS. I've been eating as much as I normally do and am full at dinner. I've been able to keep to a small, appropriate snack and it's helping.
