I came across this site recently as I searched for information on 'Evolutionary Fitness' and Paleo-diets. He has a page about the Atkins diet and the perceived notion that a high-fat diet leads to poor health. The opening page is a general discussion but there is a link to his Atkins-specific post about 1/3 the way down.
