  • hen night dilemma!!!

Hi I am on day 11 of inmduction and lost 1.5kg, i have a hen night to attend in 7 days - first a chinese meal out then to Manchester for some drinking and games!!! Sounds good, ive not been out in ages not since my baby has been born so want to really have a good night - yes including alcohol.

Please i would like some advice as to if there is any way on still staying on track with atkins and going on hen night, OR do i have a naughty day and get back on induction thre day after???

Please i dont want any nasty remarks about my commitement to the diet, i have been very good. I normally drink cider and blackcurrent, or alco pops when im out, could i alter these to alcohol that doesnt have carbs? And with the meal i could just eat meat?? but usually its covered in coatings. Im personally thinking to have a mad day then go back on Atkins induction next day.

    Re: hen night dilemma!!!

regular alcohol doesnt have carbs (wiskey, vodka, rum etc) either does diet soda .. but beware everytime i drink i end up going off my diet and haveing to start all over again .. just try to think about what is more important to you at this time of your life, loosing weight or having come cocktails with friends? my thoughts are, that there will be plenty of time for that later, my main focus right now is to loose weight and get healthy ..

    Good luck ...

Food wise stick to the plan ... Do a search on Chinese food here and I think there is a thread on chinese food and atkins ...

Drinking stick to low carb beer or mixed drinks with no carb mixers.

Dont let the drinks talk you into going off the diet ... That is all.
