  • body temperature question

Has anyone experienced getting colder during the day? I am in Texas and it is HOT, I have not changed my air conditioner temp. I am sitting here with a blanket! I feel fine just cold. Past 3 days I have felt chilled. Other than that I feel GREAT.

Just curious if anyone experienced this? I am on day 19 of Atkins.

    Re: body temperature question

Yeah, I had this happen to me. Was sleeping under two covers in July. I think it might have something to do with not having much glucose in your blood? I found that once I upped my food intake, i wasn't as cold anymore.

Hmmm, I think that maybe the cause. I ran out of salad and have not had any today and only a cup yesterday (my last cup). Waiting on dear husband to get home so that I can go to the store. Which really blew my day, the only veggie I have in the house today is celery. I am CRAVING my salad and other veggies!!

My fitday for today and yesterday does not look good at all. No cheats but not enough veggies.

      Thanks for the advice!!

The amount of cold water you drink will affect your body temp. In winter, I feel frozen after two or three glasses of water.

Recently I just went up to 112 ounces a day. I was the girl who would drink hardly anything all day. With that and lack of veggies, that sounds like the issue. Since the water makes me feel better, I will do like Sugar and wear a sweater lol

            Thanks for the feedback everyone!

There's the considerable advantage of using energy to heat that water up to body temp too.... I always noticed my weight loss increased substantially as I increased my (cold) water consumption.
