  • Slowed exercise....lost weight?

Anyone ever slowed down their intense exercise and had
    it help them loose weight?

I think I am exercising too much and it is stressing me out.
It seems all I do is think about staying on plan...drinking my water
taking the vitamins and doing the everyday exercise (3 miles).

I am not having much fun and think if I slow down a bit because
this is a lifetime habit that it will suit me better. At this rate I
    will burn out. Any ideas?

The good Dr said exercise is non-negotiable. He did n't say you must kill yourself exercising! In my opinion, your exercise HAS TO BE something you can do for the rest of your life, or replace with a similar output. Otherwise the muscles you build turn to mush when your exercising slows down....and with it, the calories you can consume go down....and I assume we will all slow down sooner or later-they don't call it old age for nothin'! On the other hand, that's no excuse to call lifting the remote exercise
My opinion of course; I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one of TV!

Hi Pie4me, this way of eating/way of life has got to be something you can live with. Make it just that. Know your limits and listen to your body. Do something that you enjoy and can stick with. We all know how bad stress is for you. I personally believe that is why so many quit this WOL. They just stress out over what they have done wrong or what they can not do and quit. Hang in there for the long haul.
