How many carbs to count for Diet Rite?

  • How many carbs to count for Diet Rite?

    I *finally* found a diet soda that contains Splenda (not aspartame) and has 0g carbs.

    I know it says 0g carbs, but in my Induction phase, do I need to count this as how many carbs per can of soda?

    I would count it as 1 carb per serving (in general this means 1 carb per 8 oz).

      dont forget to count your sweetener ... 3 splendas per day

        I never count diet rite as any carbs but you do have to count the sweeteners and it equals about 1 1/2 per can... I love tangerine flavor

          I'm with LaceyLooWho, 0 sounds good. Watch for stalls. Spenda's not so good for you either. See Sherri's post about it, think it is in "news".

            I personally made sure I broke my habit/addiction to soda's. This goes along with kicking the sugar addiction. I do allow a Diet Rite every now and then as a treat, but this time around I'm going to do Induction without any soda's or sweeteners. For me I don't cound it as a carb but I do make sure I count the sweetener (when I do have one).
