So I've heard that you get drunk much quicker while on a restricted carb diet. I've felt this first hand actually! But I'm concerned with drinking and ketoacidosis. I know that alcoholics can develop ketoacidosis because alcohol inhibits gluconeogesis, which can... kill you.
I'm worried about the ketones already in the blood building up even more with the moderate consumption of alcohol and putting me in, say, a coma. Is this a known phenomenon? Or will I only have to worry if I consume heavily?
