  • My TMI update!! (errr) And coconut milk!!

Hey everyone! just a sort of update and a cool recipe!!

I am a month into Atkins, and have reached my goal 100% but am going for more. My ballet teacher thinks I should do more!

I don't know how to post my ticker.... I have tried several times. I am just really slow. But I have lost 10kg which brings me to 130 and my bmi is 22. I am now supposed to try for 120kg. I hope it works out OK.

My legs are still feeling floppy, but I am able to work through fatigue much better now.

BUTTTTTT hhaha wow, a very over informative story....

I was not taking craps at all.. Like nothing. So last week I kinda freaked out a bit... well, allot. I had been taking metamucil and flax seed and water and green veggies etc. Sooo even though I am sure it goes 100% against Atkins I got some ex lax chocolate. I ate 2 and it said that I should have results the next morning, but nothing... so I ate 2 a day for 4 days. (they are just like little chocolate chip laxatives... no major cheat) but still nothing, so I was kinda in some pain. I talked to the pharmacist, and she sent me home with this like self enema kit. I was like you have got to be kidding. So I waited a day and prayed for the dang ex lax to do something so I wouldn't have to subject my self to this absurd treatment. But nope. a few days passed, and I found my self opening the enema. So I did that, and it helped a little little bit. I was getting really worried. So I got Dr's advice and he sent me home with docusate sodium. they are like some sort of softener or something. so I took those for a few days, and no help. So the Dr orders me to take another enema. I am near killing my self at this point. So I took it, and this one actually worked... I think there must have been some sort of blockage, cause things are fine now. That dropped me 3 kg over my goal but I didn't count it as it was matter weight! lol GAG! sorry about the tmi...

Has anyone had this before...? I was so embarrassed of my self. Yep, and now I am posting on the internet... neat eh? I am so weird.

any ways hope you are all doing great! sorry this is so mixed and random!

I made this really good ice cream!!

1/4 cup Thai coconut milk lite (from a can) (45 cal, 4 fat, 1 carb. no hidden carbs or sugars....)

2 tbsp cream cheese ( 80 cal, 8 fat, 0 carbs. no hidden carbs or sugars)

2 tbsp heavy cream (100 cal, 10 fat 0 carbs. no hidden carbs or sugars)

    I tsp splenda

Mixed it all really good and put it in a tupper ware in the freezer! It makes about 3 small servings! Just to have a cool yummy treat!

I know it is only certain rung appropriate, but I love this coconut milk... I love coffee, and at 1 carb per 1/4 cup I am not doing too bad with using about 1/8 of it a day in my coffee! I am really particular with my coffee, and I thought I would die without it. Sometimes I buy a can of the coconut milk and some heavy cream and mix them in a jug to keep in the fridge to use for coffee or what ever.

It is so thick and yummmmers!

    just a couple of things:

    1. I think your ballet teacher is a nut---a very dangerous nut.

You are a ballet dancer. I would assume you are in very good physical condition. Therefore for you the BMI is useless because BMI doesn't take muscle into account at all. For you a better indicator of fitness and appropriate weight would be % body fat. There's a HUGE difference between a person with a BMI of 25 but has a % body fat of 30 and a person with a BMI of 25 but a % body fat of 12.

    2. Your "floppy legs"

Maybe it's because you aren't eating enough calories/food to sustain your dancing. Maybe it's because you are losing muscle. Whatever its cause, you shouldn't be feeling "floppy" or weak. We have ADBBers who run marathons, they don't report feelings of "floppy legs" or weakness.

    3. Your constipation

I noticed in your previous threads you are in OWL Phase. By the time you get to OWL phase, you should be eating enough veggies that fiber supplementation is usually unnecessary.

I was pretty offended too when she aproached me about my weight because I was feeling really fit and strong. I tried to explain that I was "heavy" because of muscle... You can see that I am butched in my gallery and now 10 kg less than those pics ... But she didn't want excuses.

I am sorry if I have offended anyone.

I do eat allot of veggies... I think I was just really backed up... I don't know.

I need to keep with this so that I don't get fired. I am in a ballet company. So I kind of have to do what they want. But after another 10 kg I will have to tell her no more.
