Thoughtless mistake

Thougt I'd post this so others will be mindful. Saturday I went to the circus with my daughter. After walking from the parking garage completely around the convention center, then thru the building looking at the animals, then standing in line to get in, then walking around looking at everything, up the stairs a couple of times to find our seats we finally get to our seats. By then I am dying of thirst. There is a guy walking around with lemonade so I get one (at $9.00 now less) start downing it then sipping it to make it last. I'm about half way thru it when I realize this thing is probably full of sugar. Didn't even think of it before then. Worst part is we could have gone back down stairs and bought 3 bottles of water for the same $9.00. Doh! The sad thing is I packed up a cooler of water and diet soda and some snacks that included baked chicken for me so we could sit and wait for the traffic to die down. So I was to a point thinking then later just didn't think at all. Live and learn. I immediately went back on plan and no problems came from it. If I gain any weight from it I don't know it because I don't own a scale. So I didn't get discourage in that area. It is like since we drink all sugar free drinks at home including lemonade it just didn't even occur to me other people might make them with suger. Just a silly mistake which I am not going to let get me down. The up side is all that walking and stair climbing was a good work out for that day.

Good for you to jump back on it so quick, not to mention realizing you may have had something off plan!!! That is truly taking control and personal responsibility.. AND taking care about what you put into/might be putting into your body!!!

Drink up (that water, of course) and continue onward!! You must be destined for success!
