Ya, 2-3 tbsp daily although in the special foods category in the book it says you can occasionally have up to 3 ounces as long as it does not cause you to stall... Most heavy cream I have see is 1 carb per tbsp but you should check the nutrition facts of your brand and go according to that.
Was looking on page 127 under "beverages" where it says:
"cream (heavy or light); limit to two to three tablespoons a day; note carbohydrate content"
On page 129, under "Special Category Foods" it does say "To add variety, you may add.... or three ounces of unsweetened heavy cream.." Then the last sentence says "If you seem to be losing slowly, moderate your intake of these foods."
My apologies! I forgot it was listed under the allowed beverages. Thank you. So basically... you are freely allowed a little cream. Like MissNikki notes, you might then decide to add a bit more, and see how it affects you, no more than 3 oz more.
