    Would it be weird to hug a bottle?

    I live in eastern Canada - several provinces away from the closest bottle of DaVinci syrup. During my time here at ADBB I have sighed and drooled over the recipes that require sugar-free syrup.

    WELL! *insert triumphant sound here* I FINALLY got my hands on a bottle of DaVinci syrup! My aunt had to bring it from the other side of Canada, but it's in my hands now and I'm just about ready to hug the $&%*# out of it!

    Excuse me now, my syrup and I need a few moments of togetherness



    Well okay, not that extreme, but I'm really happy!!!!

        I don't know about that, I am in loooooooooove with Vanilla Cream liquid Stevia and it's anywhere from $12 - $14 for the size of a nail polish bottle--- that equivalates to "scarce" in my food budget lol. I should use it sparingly but I don't.....
        I use it like it's totally always available and less than a buck...<sigh>

            I am also in Eastern Canada and nope none of that here. I have searched high and low. I may ust order some in.

              Good Morning Ladies,
              It is very annoying not to have easy access to all these products isn't it? We used to have a lot more a few years ago but many of the stores that carried them were phased out. I remember they were talking about taking carb content off items at some point; some politicians idea of good sense! Oh well.. anyway..here is a Canadian link to buy online locarb that delivers everywhere in Canada. Check the shipping prices versus amount spent...Maybe it will help some.

                  I feel the same way about all the foods on atkins. Eggs, bacon, cheese, lamb chops. I have needed moments with all when I first started. I have been calorie counting for so long I had forgotten what REAL FOOD tastes like.

                    I was in the health food store today and looked at the flavored stevias, now I wish I had got some. I passed in favor of xylitol, since I have some stevia, but had never tried the xylitol.

                    If I ever see some of the DaVinci, I will probably get it. Not worried enough about 'sweet' to order it online.

                      the only thing about the davinci- in my case anyway- is that after i have some, maybe on pancakes or coffee, or something like that- for the next two days i am craving sweets like a mad woman- i rarely have it anymore but it is good to have around when an emergency situation comes around
