  • Feeling Sick - induction flu or something else?

Alright well i have been on atkins now since the 9th of August, the first week i lost a **** of alot, then the last 2 days i stopped losing.. Then all of a sudden im back on track, all up ive lost 17.6lbs almost 19.8 (by tomorrow i should be)

But im worried, the last few days i fell sick I could barely stomach food, i was feeling hungry but just couldnt barely eat.. i forced myself to eat. but that wasnt fun ofcourse..

i started wondering if maybe something was wrong.. My question is though. What exactly is Induction flu?? i thought it was just that.. the flu? But can it make u feel sick in the stomach and wanting to throw up?? Im hoping its just that... and not something worse.

I did atkins for 4 months, a few years ago and i never went through the induction flu.

any advice would be great so i can stop worrying lol

Gdezi - only eat as much as your body wants you to eat, dont force it to eat too much of any particular food
Maybe you need to change the kind of meat you are eating to something more palatable for your tastebuds?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Thankyou im feeling better today, i was just worried my body was going into starvation or something lol....

it sucks though, i changed my diet yesterday and started having omlette for breakfast. Today i weighed myself and i now weigh 4.4lbs more then yesterday! i feel so awful.. and breakfast was the best thing i have eaten since the start of diet... Does anyone know why this has happened, i didnt eat alot of it, and only used 2 eggs and two slices of cheese, Should i stick away from it?
