  • Walden Farms products on Induction?

Walden Farms products are no sugar/carbs.
I've been hearing a lot about it.

They have a chocolate dip, marshmallow dip, and fruit spread with NO carbs, no sugar, no fat.

I'm still in Induction, but am I allowed to eat these?

Re: Walden Farms products on Induction?

I'll give you my shpell on Induction and you make your decision from there because I really want you to succeed

Induction is and needs to be as clean, honest, pure, and planned out as much as you most possibly can. It's a time to clean out the body and start fresh. Induction introduces you to the healthy eating that Dr. A. spread out in the research to lose weight. Basically, stick to the pure plan of veggies, proteins, fats, etc.

You're really only allowed 2-3 tsp of sugar substitute a day while on this plan. Period. Exceeding that amount does quite a few things (that I've personally experienced and read about)...
      1. your body burns it up before it burns the fat: aka: slows fat/weight loss
      2. your body digest it normally as anything else (lucky you if this is the case)
      3. your body can't digest it and you end up in the bathroom and wishing you bought stock in toliet paper (trust me when I say, sometimes it's not worth the trouble).

If neither one or three look great to you, than I would simply skip those things and get through Induction and OWL without them. It's not to say that you should never have them, because, I believe you don't know about something until you try it (but I'll exclude drugs, alcohol, and other things that you might be thinking so I'm putting my disclaimer here...lol...), so, maybe hold off until later in the OWL rungs to give 'em a try.

As far as fruit spreads, though, berries made in jams/jellies that are sugar free are (I think) okay in moderation for the berry rung. Any other fruit is for the OWL rung 7.

      I hope that helps some
