Very true, good job on keeping focus and determination during a very tempting weekend!

I had something similar (not as bad), we went to Logans Road house. Their rolls are SOOOOOO GOOOOD. I had to sit there and look at two basket fulls while my in fit husband and kids chowed down on them with nice melting butter. I could smell the yeast and kept chugging my water to keep my mouth and hands busy LOL Oh and before we left, I saw their little desert menu that had a nutter butter icecream thing. My mouth was watering but made it out of there. Today was my 30 days on a cheat free induction, I am so glad that I did not blow it!

    Again, good job!

Congrats on not giving into temptation! It can be SO hard sometimes. I was tested last night - was invited to my brother's house for a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings (they had a freezer quit working so decided to cook the bird rather than let it go bad). My Mom helped out and her stuffing is the best on the face of the earth, then there's the mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, etc... I had just some turkey and a lettuce & cucumber salad. I did have a little gravy on my turkey - looking back perhaps I shouldn't have because of the flour used to thicken it but I wasn't thinking at the time, just focusing on NOT having the spuds and dressing! Its not easy but I did it.

          Good job, you three
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Good job! It is nice to feel proud of ourselves isn't it.

I had a similiar weekend. I went to a birthday party with a huge spread on Saturday. They roasted a pig, so I had that and some cucumbers and broccoli. On Sunday I hosted a family reunion at my house for 50 people. Everyone brought food so we had about everything you can imagine for lunch. I stayed on plan. Then we went to a minor league baseball game and everyone was eating all of this carb loaded ball park food and again I stayed on plan. I had a Diet Coke and a water. Last night I was able to go to bed so very proud of myself. I didn't have to be disappointed in myself and I felt good. To tell you the truth, the temptation was not that bad. I just didn't stand around the dessert table at all and I kept too busy to think about eating. LOL Oh, and I walked 3 miles before everyone came for the reunion. Yeah!
