  • Ground Sausage

    I have read through the book but I cant seem to find whether sausage is approved during induction. The sausage will not be prepackaged like Johnsonville or others like that. It will be ground sausage that will be formed into links.

    If it is made of pork and doesn't have sugar then you are good. I make my own. I buy a pound of ground pork and just add a list of spices I got off the net. Just went on the net and found one with the spices I thought sounded the best. I like making most of my own stuff then I know exactly what is in it.

      Also try to find a good butcher ... they will tell you exactly what is in it.

        Thanks for all the helpful hints! I will check with my butcher to see what he puts into it. I hope that it is carb free because I love grilled Italian sausage.
