  • Peppered Maple Bacon ok to eat in Induction?

I know we can eat bacon, but the label says Total Carb is 0g. The ingredinets do not list sugar, but the packaging says the bacon is cured in maple syrup-type thing and in () says sugar.

So, I'm taking it as that while there are no sugars added to the bacon, it is cured in maple syrup-type conconction that does contain sugar... but the package reads 0g carbs.

So, is it ok to eat?

Not okay to eat due to the sugar in the "maple syrup conconction that does contains sugar". Always rely on the list of ingredients not just the food label.

Probably the nutrition info is for one slice and if it works out to just under 0.5 carbs they are allowed to claim zero carbs for it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
