Hello There! I started induction a few weeks ago and had 3 days of the "flu". It was mild, but noticeable none the less. OK. The facts are:
194.0 when I began.
Got down to 186.4.
I exercise. Although school started again and I've not been able to work out as vigorously. I'm in nursing school and my 10 year old started back as well. We were both exhausted
. So, I went from 6 days a week to 3. I realize that this is not good.
Additionally, I'm sure I'm having water retention right now (cyclic reasons). However, I got on the scale this morning and I am 190.3 UGH!!! What I have not done is give up the artificial sweetners. Do I count each packet of sweet and low or splenda as "1" carb? If so, that really may be my issue. Darn it! Everything says "0" carb (i.e. splenda sweetened coffee syrup). Also, is it "legal" to use carb control tortillas? They have been my life saver.
I'm just wondering if I'm in high insulin resistance or just need to be patient...I didn't eat a lot of crazy carbs before and I'm very healthy and muscular. I am curious if the weight/inches comes off slowly for someone who was not necessarily a bad-carb eater...I'm going to stick to this because I feel really good...I'm just a bit frustrated...
Thanks for any input.
Have a great day!
