  • Oysters for fatigue

Fatigued all day from working, out or something, so I read that Oysters have a lot of B12, so am grabbing a couple (a bit carb-y like 3g net in one) raw ones at dinner. I already take a multivitamin. I had red meat for lunch which is also high in B12.

Anyone have experience or thoughts on fatigue ... and consuming the mollusk?

    Re: Oysters for fatigue

Oysters are allowed but limited in amount on the allowed list
Oysters and mussels are higher in carbs than other shellfish so limit them to four ounces per day.
so I assume as long as you are within the limits you should be fine.

About the fatigue - is that just a one-off or have you been experiencing it for a while?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Most red meats should give you a good dose too. And liver will put you over the top

Thanks Elizellen - it was just one day. I might have had something go through me or tired for working out hard the night before, or both. I was pretty good an hour after eating three oysters.
Thanks Chicklady - yeah I had a burger for lunch that day (knew about liver but not into liver).

Thanks for the reminder about the limits Ellizellen - just passing by, just happened to have bought 3 cans of them at Aldi's.... Will watch myself when I decide to eat some.

I'd probably have dived right into the 2nd can once the first was done, probably tomorrow, but just cuz they are soooooo goooood!

gman, I can't say they do anything notable on their own, (but they can catalyse good energy in the proper environment ) - but certainly a good daily supplement does make a huge difference if you are lacking the nutrient(s) somehow!!!!!!
