  • Question

    Hello,
Since my induction 2 week period has come and gone with out weight loss I am trying it again.

I think I have realized why. Now, I just want to make sure I am on the right track.

I went to the grocery store about bought the following items.

    Lamb
    Steak
    Ckn wings
    ckn breats

    Broccoli
    radishes
    cucumber
    califlower

    heavy whipping cream for coffee

Now, if I simmer my ckn breats in ff low sodium ckn broth is that o.k. on induction?

Only 3 cups of veggies a day. How do I measure? After or before cooking?

I can only have 3 TBSP of heavy whipping cream for my coffee. Can I add a little splenda?

90% of my drinks will be water, but am I allowed to have crystal light or 4C?

    Thanks

    Re: Question

crystal light has aspartame. you can have it if you don't want to lose weight.
    4C, never heard of it.

ff low sodium chicken broth, does that mean fat free? don't use anything fat free on this diet. check out what momtomany1 says on the post "food questions" in this forum. simmering in broth, hmmm...never tried that! i usually coat mine with lots of herbs and either broil or saute in olive oil on top of the stove. sometimes bake if it has bone-in.

"only" 3 cups veggies per day? you go, girl! yeah, measure before cooking not after.

good job on the meat shopping, i don't see one processed meat in that list. if you feel like it, check out the food and cooking and recipes forums, i've found a lot of new tricks on there that have gone over well with me and my DH.

don't skimp on your fats, ie butter, and olive oil. i try to saute as much as i can, veg and meat, in olive oil, it's a good-good fat, makes me feel satisfied, has lots of anti-oxidants, tastes ymmy, smells good...

be sure to read momtomany1's post in the other thread about food questions.

you are on a good direction, izza, good job on getting redirected...
