    If it is zero carbs and have not sweeteners it is fine. I like carbonated water with a tad of lemon.

      Yup club soda is fine, however it does have 75mg of sodium per can, which does not seem like alot, but if you are drinking several cans it will add up.

      My mother was an absolute club soda fanantic! I never understood the appeal of it, i find it just makes me burb too much lol

          Interestingly, I have sometimes had flavored seltzer water as an alternative to water in the past. It's nothing but carbonated water and flavoring (no sweetener, artificial or real). DANDR claims it's OK to drink, but does NOT count towards your water goal. I've never known why, but I accept it.

            it would depend on whether it's causing you issues, if it isn't i wouldn't worry about it.

            Regular water is still best.

                Carbonated water in large amounts depletes your calcium. It does this because it contains phosphorus which upsets the balance of calcium in the body. So if you drink a lot of carbonated anything make sure you take a calcium supplement. This is especially important for women. Caffeine also depletes calcium so carbonated caffinated sodas are even worse. It's fine to have a little of these things, but making your entire water for the day carbonated is probably not advisable.
