  • A Food Filled 5 Days!

The next 5 days will really be a challenge for me. I have dinners, birthday parties, and luncheon from now till Wednesday, inclusive. I have already been preparing for the challenge. For a few of the events, I am bringing a dish, and will definately make sure it is something DH & I can eat. I am also going to have some vegie soup at home, before going to a couple of events, so it will fill me up a bit, so that I don't overeat. I have also take out some slim pictures of me, from the last time I was on this WOE, and looking at them every morning, for positive affirmations. I am determined to keep losing during this challenging period. Any other suggestions on what I can do, for the next 5 days?

It sounds as if you are getting well prepared for the next few days

I look forward to hearing how well you did afterwards
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

It sounds like you are prepared and that's half the battle! I would suggest that you concentrate on talking instead of eating and stick to the veggie trays. Good luck!

usually ppl make some sort of meat dish that you could eat...like maybe hamburgers or something? steaks?

maybe you could bring a meat tray with cheeses and rolled up meat...everyone likes those...

and I'm sure they might have salad available?

thaz the only suggestions I can think of

Thx everyone for your suggestions. Tonight is the easy one, as I am having a dinner party in my home, so I know I can control the meal that I make, and of course, everything will be legal Tomorrow is my FIL's birthday, and my MIL always makes a huge meal. I did though tell her that I am back on Atkins WOE, in advance, so that she doesn't make a big deal about it in front of everyone, like she used to do the last time. I am also bringing a couple of dishes, including the famous Atkins Cheesecake, which everyone loves. So I won't feel like I'm missing the Birthday Cake. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
