Actually I was wondering if anyone had run into problems with taking Psyllum husk capsules. I started doing just one a day, and at first it made me very gasey and bloated but seemed to help so I upped it to two to ya know..help more, but I worry about it because they do bulk. I drink lots of water but since I am taking two now I am back to being gasey and bloated. Does that go away? I was thinking of going back to just one a day and increasing the veg. I think one of the biggest reasons I started taking it was because I was looking for a little help, and mostly to clean me out. When I go, there isn't much there and it isn't super frequent (this was even before Atkins) and I had heard it isn't good if poo sticks around inside you.

Go back to one and increase your fibre with veggies, you may be able to cut out the capsules all together.
If you really do need the suppliments, you may want to try buying actual psyllium husks rather than capsules, and spreading smaller doeses throughout the day.Jen, 39, F
