  • How much is to much?

Ok, I know that sugar is a no-no, but how much is to much? For instance my carrots naturally have a little bit of sugar in them, and the bag salad also has a little bit- 2g per 2 cups. It isn't a whole lot but it does add up. So how much is to much? I honestly don't have a whole lot of time or extra money to buy special veggies and fix them up, which is why I go with the bagged stuff. What do you guys eat for veg, and has the little bit of sugar impeded weight loss for anyone? I want to stay on induction for awhile and am now trying to fine tune my diet because I keep hitting plateau after plateau. Thanks for the help!

Well you cant have carrots at all, it isnt included on the list of acceptable foods for induction. Bagged salad shouldnt have any sugar unless it has carrots so I would suggest finding one containing just induction friendly veggies.

As for the sugar question... you should have no ADDED sugar. Things like tomato's will always have naturally occuring sugar but as long as you arent eating added sugar in anything, you should do just fine Have you read the book? That is so important!

I guess I haven't read enough of the book. And I guess I was just imagining things. I could have sworn carrots was on the list (just in moderation) but you are right. I also read the stickys on the induction period and it answered most of my questions about sugar. Thanks for the help, I will do some more homework!
