Hi everyone. I ws wondering does anyone have issues with everything tasting too salty? Even before atkins I rarely used salt. Now with atkins the only time I eat something salty is bacon and the occasional pork rind. the last couple days I have made chicken and turkey. Even using just a little mrs. dash it was so salty I could hardly eat it. and just now my cup of hot tea tasted salty. my hubby tasted them and he said they tasted bland. is this wierd or what? I wanted to get some advice before I ask my doctor... thanks

YES!!!! Holy cow! Everything tastes salty - even things without salt taste salty. Been driving me nuts but I figured it was part of what was supposed to be happening to me. It's so weird though!

ok so maybe its just the change in tastes buds... I think I'll save on my Dr. Co-pay! I guess I will use less mrs. dash and see if that helps.

I find a lot of things are saltier too. The plus side is we shouldn't be eating so much salt any way, I guess. But it is strange. For me, the cheese is the most noticeable thing. I thought maybe it was the brand and tried different ones but they all taste salty! LOL
