  • Official Week 3 and then Week 4 Results!

    Total Loss since 9/1/08 - 23 lbs
    Total Inches since 9/1/08 - 25 inches

    I forgot to post my Week 3 results but wanted to stay on top of it so I'm posting Week 3 and Week 4 together. I had a FANTASTIC week this past week after gaining 4 lbs last week. Lost 10 lbs and 9.25 inches. Total motivation and I started my cycle the day before my weigh in so I'm happy it hasn't affect the scale.. or at least it didn't on my weigh day! I am walking further and actually look forward to working out since I can do so without feeling like I'm going to die 10 minutes into it. When I started on 9/1/08, I categorized my closet and put all jeans (20 pair) that I couldn't even get buttoned (not even close to buttoning) on their own rack. Saturday, I woke up and tried them all on to see if I was making any progress and much to my surprise... I was able to move 5 pair over the "I can wear now" rack (wearing a pair today) and 12 more that buttoned easily but still need a few more lbs and inches before they actually look ok and only 3 pair left that won't button but are getting really close. I was soooooooooooooooo excited! On to Week 5!

            Thanks lovely ladies! I'm sure workin hard and couldn't do it without the info and support from this board. I try to log on everyday, and if nothing else, just read a quick success story. I was down 25 lbs this morning and that felt great! 89 more to go...sounds horrible, but for me I focus on 5 lbs at a time and that works for me...especially since right now.. I'm averaging that a week...lol. I'm aware that it will slow eventually and I'm prepared to deal with it emotionally. I can come here and I've got great friends an awesome boyfriend who are cheering me on. My BF made me get my butt up and go to the gym at 11 last night because I knew I didn't get a chance to go the night before. He went and worked out with me so I wouldn't be alone and then gave me a nice massage after my hot shower! Was glad I went!
