Most sausages are highly processed, and among other weird ingredients they might contain sugar (in some form). Also, the amount of sodium in them is enormous; for most people, a high sodium intake causes water retention... so basically it will stall your weight loss.

Now going back to your sausages , 2 g of carbs per sausage is enormous. This means that 8 out of your 20 net carbs come from them, and remember that during induction 12-15 g of net carbs should come from veggies. Therefore, I'd say you should stay away from sausages. Moreover, I can't imagine how 2 g of carbs per sausage could come from anything else then sugar. Check the ingredients for that.

So you have two alternatives. Either change the type of sausages you buy (look for some with lower carb content), or prepare something else for breakfast. Eggs are great and there are various way you can prepare them. Cream cheese is a life saver as well.

Whatever you choose, I would say that eating 4 sausages is not healthy (many might kick my for this), be it during induction or later on. There are roughly 500 mg of sodium in a sausage; in 4 there are about 2000 mg. The daily recommended sodium intake is around 1500-2000 mg. You can't fit into this range by eating 4 sausages.

You'd be better off eating one or two sausages and a couple of eggs. Eggs are nutritional powerhouses, sausages are not. Georgiana, you won't get kicked around here for pointing out something is not the healthiest choice.. or if you do, I got your back, okay?
