Re: can we have a frank discussion about what your body
Hi there!
I just hit 35 and have had 3 kids. I am fairly little - 5'0. At my highest preggo weight I was around 174. Highest non-preggo weight was 145.
My 1st child was huge (I actually gained less with him than the others - but started at 100lbs...) 9lbs 10oz. #2 was 8lbs and #3 was 6lbs 4oz.
After my 1st, the skin on my stomach was super stretched out. It never went back to normal. I work out religiously (6 days a week, combo of cardio and strength training) and just won't tighten up any more. I have great ab muscles under the hangy stuff and one day, I'll get my tummy tuck.
Up and down after the next two, I was in fear that the rest of my body would look just like the "chicken skin". I am now 104lbs and the rest of my skin - arms, butt, legs, knees, back, etc.. has become taught. I think it's a combo of serious exercise, diet and genetics.
HTH - Good luck!

Genetics. Pure and simple. Assuming you do the work- exercise and diet - the rest is all genetics.
My belly and upper thighs did not snap back - but the rest of me did and it snapped back famously- thank you very much! LOL After having three children and removing about 100lbs from my body, I'm thrilled with what did snap back. But I don't have the elasticity in my skin to tighten it all back up. Genetics. The only thing that's going to bring my boobs, belly and upper thighs back is a surgeon. A really good surgeon.
But ya know what? I think I look pretty darn good in spite of those things and I'm 1000% healthier.
