  • Health Assessment Profile

My new health insurance had us take a Health Assessment Profile. You enter in a lot of information about yourself - measurements, height, weight, blood pressure, medical history, etc., and it makes recommendations for you to improve your health.

The major recommendation for me was to lose weight. Wow, I'm glad I took the survey, because I never would have figured that one out.

To do that, they recommended I reduce dietary fat and that I substitute red meat with fish, chicken and beans.

Y'know, I tried that - and gained ten pounds.

Lost 15 pounds 9/18/08-01/08/09, Ended on OWL Rung 6 (had a baby!)
    Restarted Induction 11/30/09

    HA!
I also recently took a health assessment, and while my cholesterol numbers were good, they had check boxes to be checked if your numbers were high. The recommendations next to the check boxes were things like, "Eat a low fat diet." I was cracking up, because I eat a TON of fat and yet... my cholesterol is lower than it once was.
