    Ok.. now it's my turn to be alarmed... I posted about this in Century Club, but thought I'd ask 'the masses.'

    I had an overnight spike of 3 pounds, and do know I've been having trouble getting all my water for the past 3 days. probably half to 2/3s of what i should get. Just busy, didn't keep a vessel near me, and the next thing I know, hours have gone by with no water.

    I was so close to having lost 30 pounds in exactly 2 months today, and needed just one more pound gone, and the scale went the other way. I can't blame it on added muscle either.

    Everything else seems ok when I think about it, although I am going to start entering in fitday again, just to make sure.

    Overnight gain of 3 pounds usually water retention----unless you ate about 4000 calories above your daily amount. Make sure you drink your water daily.

      A gallon of water weighs just over 8lbs, so you can see how water can add weight to you easily. If you ate a lot of salt, you may be holding water... If you didn't drink enough water your body may be holding onto it as a defense mechanism. There are so many factors. Don't get all crazy and depressed. It will only make it worse.
