  • Best whooshie/end-of-stall stories?

    Hey All,

I (and I am guessing a few others) would love to hear about great whooshes that others have experienced, or ways that you overcame a long stall.

Me, I have made great progress, 16 pounds down (so almost halfway to goal), but been hovering in the same place for 10 days. Obviously that's not a real stall by definition, but it is a downer and I'd love to hear about your successes.

    Cheers,
    Titian

I'd love to hear some wooshie experiences too!

My downfall is always the long stall...I think this time I am going to give my scale to my MIL so I don't obsess about weighing myself 3 times a day.

    Congrats on the 16lb loss!

C'mon all - I know there are lots of whooshie stories because I have read a lot of them in posts past.

I am thinking I am due because I keep seeing my water % going up and up...but weight staying the same. I am also watching my calorie intake and exercising....

        WHEN!!???

I'd love a whooshie moment myself. My biggest weight loss in one week (after induction) was 4 lbs. I was so happy! But usually I'm staying around 2 lbs.

Except last week :-( NOTHING! I'm hoping for a whooshie by next Sat.; time for TOM so I don't expect it anytime soon.

^ I was stalled for almost two weeks and what I did was I added a cesar salad to my lunch. Strangely enough it worked. Now I am already down three lbs this week.

Since I weigh every day, I rarely get "whooshies" after the first week...

                  Re: Best whooshie/end-of-stall stories?

My whooshie is kind of funny. I had stopped at Tim Hortons (donut shop for you non-Canucks) to get a extra-large decaf coffee one evening. They screwed up and gave me caffienated, but I didn't realize until I'd already drank 2/3 of it. Caffeine and I do NOT get along well, and along with keeping me wired for hours, it has a dieuretic effect on me. I had well over 20 trips to the bathroom that night. In the morning I was down 4 pounds!!!

                    Re: Best whooshie/end-of-stall stories?

Many people who stay on induction for a long time seem to find their losses come to a halt and they only pick up after moving to OWL.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
