Hello. Im not sure if I ever introduced myself yet.. but my name is Jaime. Im a 22/f from NY. Ive been doing this diet on and off since I graduated highschool (2004). I know its the only lifestyle that works for me, and for some reason I always end of trailing off. I was a big girl in hs.. almost in a size 20 at 5'4''. I got down to an 11 going from around 185 to 148. As soon as I get down to the 150 mark, its like my body just stops reacting. I know I need to incorporate more exercise into my life.. its just hard because Im always so busy. I KNOW, theres no excuse. I really think I can get to my goal of 130lbs. I just feel like I'm at a low stage in my life with alot of stress and I need to care more about myself and get back on the weight loss train. When I get back on my other computer Ill post some pictures.
So heres why Im posting. Can anyone, no matter what age or gender.. shed a little light of motivation for me? I have to eat differently than everyone in my household which causes me to buy seperate food and that seems to distract me from my goal. I was just wondering if anyone has anything they want to share with me that helps them stay strong. I know I can do this again. Thanks alot :]

The motivation boils down to one thing: You've got to want to do this for you; you want to feel healthier and look better. Today is the first day of the rest of you life ... make it a healthy one! We all face choices, every day. So why not a healthful choice as opposed to something that makes you feel lousy? It's just a matter of substituting good habits for bad ones. This board is full of people doing just that ... so join us!
In fact it might be better if the room is colder than the rest of the house
I do a couple of exercise classes and the studios are always a bit cold when we start but after a few minutes we all warm up and end the session in a sweat anyway!!
