Ok, I am finding each day that I am not really all that hungry, I would eat but only a few bites because I am not hungry at all..is that normal? sometimes I would stuff a wedge of cheese just because its been a couple of hours since I chew something and I don't want my body to go into starve mode but i am not that hungry..I do have to work on my water drinking..not doing enough of that which probably is causing me to only lose 2 lbs in a week.

My dear, 2 pounds a week is excellent! but do drink your water. Yes.. the appetite just 'goes.' Helpful, but like you note, you do still have to eat!

      Re: not hungry.

I have days when I really have to force myself to eat and other days when if its not nailed down its eaten (legally of course)! I think it is part and parcel of this WOE!

You will feel better the more water you drink, not just the appetite but everything!

Good luck and well done on 2lbs a week - thats my average now - yay!!!!

        Re: not hungry.

Normal. Me too.....I usually have a large interest in food.....last time I did this diet 8 years ago--same thing.

I personally think this is why I drop weight on this diet---I eat way way less than normal and there are not that many "snack" foods to eat "endlessly" that are proteins...cuts out chips, crackers, gold fish etc. Leaves me with microwaved pepperoni-how many of those can I eat at once??? LOL!!

Yep---same thing here. Had to "force" my self to eat last time I did this diet...and again--just almost dont feel like eating. I tracked my calories the other day---900!!! SO LOW!!!! And was not interested in eating!! On WW's I averaged 1200 or so calories and I was STARVING STARVING but eating all carbs (foods of choice are carbs)....

        Anyway--yah.....normal.

Man ya'll this is happening to me too. I am not hungry at all and literally forgot to eat yesterday. I honestly can't even remember what I ate on Tuesday either. I am going to eat some wings in just a few minutes because my friend is forcing me too but I'm not hungry. Haven't had much water either really. Drank some at the gym last night. I think if it wasn't for the phentermine giving me so much energy, I'm sure I would have fallen out by now. I'm seriously not doing it on purpose because I know it is only going to mess up my metabolism but forcing myself to eat just makes me feel like crap!

            Re: not hungry.

I, too have had this to happen.. I am on my second try at Atkins, so far have lost 19 pounds as of this morning... Been doing the extended induction for 5 weeks (this coming Sunday). About 3 weeks in to the induction I lose all taste for food.. Nothing.. I had to make myself eat a small tablespoon of taco salad one day for dinner and realized that that was the first bite of food I had had all day... BAD!!! Slowed my weight loss down... But after that 3rd week and into week 5 I have begun to eat again and am liking that the pounds are melting off... Hang tough and just remember to eat something---keep some hard boiled eggs in the fridge, cheese cubes, I personally like iceberg lettuce plain, just washed and cut up into small bites... The appetite will come back and you will be fine. I am losing an average of 4 pounds per week and about 4-8 ounces a day, give or take... good luck !!!!
