Anyone take diet pills with this diet..

My friend just started taking them and she not on atkins but watches her carb intake.. and she says she losing anyone else???

I do not take diet pills, mainly because I don't think they work but also not good for heart palp problems. I was taking a lot of the supplements that Dr. A mentions in the book but I haven't taken any since Friday.

Last week was my first time taking so many of the supplements. I wanted to see if I noticed a weight loss difference from my other weeks. NOTHING! I think I will continue with them (in lower doses) until the are all gone but I will only be purchasing the vitamin again.

My Mom was on and off diet pills for as long as I can remember. I remember my sister and I climbing on the counter to sneak some of her "Ayds" diet chocolates!
But I don't think they did anything for her, except maybe a little more energy to work and take care of six kids!

Boy, my 2 cents worth was LONG.......sorry!

Wow, I remember those ayds chocolates They didn't help with my weight loss but the sure were yummy. I use to try allot of different diet pills. Nothing. Some had caffiene which aided in energy but so would a cup of coffee. Boy if I had all the money I spent on weight loss pills, I could take a trip (or buy a cow ) In my opinion, they are a waste of money.

If diet pills worked, then I think we would all be skinny. I don't use them and would not recommend doing so.

I take 37.5 mg of phentermine prescribed by my doctor who is also monitoring me while on Atkins and it helps tremendously with my appetite and cravings. Atkins does too but the combination is working well for me.

I just got a script for phentermine that I will begin taking as soon as I can wean my daughter of nursing.. I did it for 2 months before I got pg and lost 15 lbs. it helps me and once I loose it it is gone.. I don´t gain back much... my problem is loosing the weight I gained years ago during a bad marriage. I lost 100lbs in 2004 and didn´t gain any back until I got pg last year. If you gain back as soon as you are not dieting the pills will not work for you.. you will just gain back after you go off them.
