  • Confused on a few things...

    Hi I am starting today and still am a little confused about a few things. I have read the book and am plowing through this board, so if these were already answered someplace else, I do apologize.

    What's the rule for breath mints?

    Can I use regular salad dressing or should I stick to oils?

    Am I allowed to have any of the Atkins shakes/bars?

    I count each breathmint as one carb, unless it states otherwise.

    Oils are best when trying to avoid carbs altogether, but I use Newman's Own Ceasar dressing and it only has 1 carb per two tablespoons. It hasn't caused any stalls in my weight loss.

    Nooo... the bars and shakes are probably best for those who are in maintenence since they've been known to cause stalls in weight loss. It's best to stick to a clean, natural food induction. You will see the absolute best results with this!

        Chrystal light adds artifical sugars to you water - You have to limit artificial sugars to three a day. And water should be enjoyed clean. At least 64 oz of it.
        Clean induction just means following the rules (an outlined in DANDR) to the tee.
