Hello,
My name is Lorie and I will be starting the Induction phase on January 1, 2009. I cannot start now because I am 8 months pregnant with a little boy, who will be delivered via c-section on Dec. 22, 2008. I have read the 2002 version of Dr. ,Atkins, book, three times in fact, cover to cover. I wanted to make sure I understood every aspect. I was wondering if you all could help me. Could you all give me some pointers of what you all did on the Induction phase to keep on track, even some sample menus of what you ate would be great. Anything will help and be appreciated. Also, I plan to start walking as I start the diet, I will not be able to be up and about for about 3 weeks after the c-section, but once I can, I will start out by walking on the high school track (that is next to my school) for around 30-45 mins 5-6 times a week. Does that sound like enough to start off with? Also, if anyone is looking for a buddy or friend to chat with, I check in everyday and am always online, also my email is glen.lorie@yahoo.com. Please feel free to shoot me an email I love meeting new people. I am engaged and have 3 children now, will be 4 in December, so I have support from my fiancee, he is helping me a lot, just need some advice from you experienced users. I have looked at many of your before and after pics, and read the success stories, you all look wonderful. Keep up the good work. Hope to hear from you all soon. Looking forward to being a very active part of this board! Have a great weekend everybody!!!
Thank you,
Lorie

So if you keep an eye on the board and post when you are ready to begin there will be many newbies to share with. Also some people start buddy lists. So that is something you can do then.

Congrats on your upcoming parcel
