  • Help - carb content?

    Hi Guys

    I am having the perfect Atkins meal tonight. Raclette cheese and bacon - YUM!

    Thing is, I'd like to input the cheese in to fitday and I have found two sites with nutritional info for raclette and the carbs aren't listed. Does this mean it contains no carbs?

    The type I have is the traditional raclette cheese (my husband bought it back from Switzerland.

    I am not planning to gorge on the stuff but would like to know how many carbs per slice.

    Just found this site which lists carbs per 100g as zero

      Dailyplate says that the raclette from Trader Joe's has 1g/1oz, but the generic has 0... I tend to go with the theory (which is what Dr. Atkins says in his book), that each 1oz of cheese is about 1g of carbs.

        I am pretty sure it has 0g as is the original swiss cheese. I have only had 7g carbs so far today so have enough for raclette - I will prob count it as 1g per ounce in fitday. I am having bacon, celery and jalepenos with it so I should be OK.
        AM SO HUNGRY!!! It's just gone 7pm here. We are just putting the kids to bed and then will get on with dinner. Zx
