ok, so i have been doing pretty good mostly with a few minor slipups but have jumped back on right away. However, my motivatin is lacking... I guess my brothers wedding was more of a motivation than I thought it was... Have lost 26 pounds in two months but only one in the past week... have 74 more pounds to go to reach my prebaby size 7/8 weight. But would be happy to settle into a size 8/10. I know that it will take awhile but maybe its just the holidays getting me down... My son who was born stillborn was due at christmas... this was a cause for a lot of my weight gain... I am over the everyday depression but it always seems to sneak back in during the holiday times... even though it has been 6 years... and I tend to treat my depression with cookies, cake, potatoes, you name it anytype of starch/sugar that makes me forget... I could really use some words of encouragement today. thanks for listening, you guys are the best and it helps to lay out my feelings to someone other than my husband/friends-sometimes they just don't get it..

It's perfectly reasonable to suffer depression at this time. The best thing for it is to avoid "medicating" with food - it'll only make you feel worse!

The holidays seem to bring that out in people. Just keep reminding yourself that being overweight will only add to your depression.
