  • Stopped :(

I went from 228 to 210 and then it just stopped. I didn't change what I was eating at all and it just stopped. But I kept on because I made this a lifetime commitment... and now gained and am back to 214. What in the world??? I am not eating anything taboo.

Breakfast: 2 eggs scrambled with a tad of cheese, bacon or sausage
Lunch: 1/2 cup chicken salad and about 1/2 cup of cottage cheese with two tablespoons of homemade whipped cream. Or diet jello.
Supper: Meat (whatever I make for hubby... beef, pork or chicken usually). Veggies... broccoli, or cauliflower or brussel Sprouts.

Bedtime snack (can't sleep without one) Usually pudding made with 1/4 cup of Ricotta mixed with homemade whipped cream.
    OR... pork rinds

What do I drink? Well I was drinking lots of water but the weather here in the northeast has turned cold so I drink decaf hot tea.. black... instead.

I was eating all of the above after the induction to now and was losing a pound a week.

What do you think I'm doing wrong?

    Re: Stopped

Tea doesn't count as water. You should be drinking you 64oz of water +8oz for every 25 lbs you want to lose *in addition* to drinking your tea. The more water you drink, the more fat it will flush out of your system. ValidRouge said to think of it that way to make all 500 runs to the bathroom seem like they have a purpose.

I'm assuming you're on the dairy rung since you're eating ricotta and cottage cheese, but maybe your body wants something new - going up a rung, or going up an increment of 5g of carbs...

Women's weight can fluctuate (maybe that's where the 4lbs came from), but I'm not sure why your weight would have increased. Do you exercise? If not, you should be. It's one of the crucial elements to the Atkins plan. If you do, the weight could be water retention from a workout.
